THE FUTURE |
The Rolls Royce marque, well known for
its luxurious limousines will be taken over by BMW in
January 2003. The new Rolls will be introduced following
the take over. The latest Roller will consist of a lot of
new innovations and an impressive power train. The car will be robotically constructed in Germany but it's final assembly and the fitment of the interior will still be hand crafted in UK. The new car will combine luxury and racecar genes. BMW will provide the Rolls with a powerful 7-litre V12 engine rather than the traditional pushrod V8 power train. The car will be available with a six-speed automatic transmission and will attain a top-speed of 240km/h. It will also be fitted with many electronics devices, courtesy BMW. |
